After breakfast, head to Sigiriya to climb the magnificent rock fortress, which was once the capital of Sri Lanka in the 5th century. Admire the frescoes of the Sigiriya Maidens. In the afternoon, travel to Polonnaruwa to explore the well-preserved ancient ruins, which were the capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to 13th century.

Highlights: Anuradhapura, Return to Colombo
After breakfast, visit Anuradhapura, the ancient first capital of Sri Lanka. Explore iconic landmarks such as the tallest Dagoba, royal palaces, temples, and the Temple of the Sacred Bo Tree. Afterward, travel back to Colombo, passing by lush paddy fields and coconut plantations. Arrive in Colombo or the airport in the evening.
